Founded by Russian immigrants in 1952 and situated in a historic building on Capitol Hill, the mission of the Russian Community Center of Seattle is to preserve, celebrate, and showcase the rich Russian culture through diverse community programs and events.
We strive to create a welcoming space for all individuals interested in Russian culture to foster a deeper appreciation of the Russian heritage, history, language, traditions, and values to inspire and enrich future generations.
The RCC is a 501(c)(4) not-for-profit organization that does not engage in or take position on any political matters.
We organize and host various social events, including film screenings, concerts, food festivals, dances, children’s shows, and much more.
Our building features two ballrooms and a spacious kitchen. To inquire about renting these facilities, see the "Connect and Contribute" section below.
Large Ballroom / Auditorium
Our main hall features a dramatic soaring ceiling and stage. This facility is ideal for performing arts, and large family or company gathering. Access to our full kitchen is available at no extra charge.
Small Ballroom / Gallery
Our sky lit small ballroom/gallery features a cozy fireplace and is an ideal setting for small group gatherings. We have hosted art exhibits, crafts and book sales, lectures, and puppet theater shows in this room. A recently renovated floor makes it an excellent venue for dance lessons.
